Photo en noir et blanc de l'artiste Rojan

Rojan

Feodor Stepanovich Rojankowski is better known by the pseudonym Rojan. Born in Mitau, Russia, December 21 or 24, 1891, died October 12, 1970 in New York City.

For our greatest pleasure, he illustrated many children's books such as the Albums du Père Castor in the thirties.

He liked to stray on more daring paths, as shown by the drawings presented here, chosen from among the most piquant, taken from a "Spring Idyll".

Artworks selected by Sismique et Sensuelle

Idylle Printanière (Spring Idyll) by ROJAN (1891-1970) is taken from a Portfolio narrating the erotic story (without text) of the encounter between two passengers in the subway and then finding themselves forced to share a taxi. Unable to resist the desire to do so, they begin to caress each other in the back seats of the taxi. Eventually, they will find a room to let their bodies fully express themselves.

The facsimiles presented by Sismique and Sensuelle are taken from this portfolio. Each facsimile is dated, numbered and signed by Rojan.
