For years, I had been doing film photography as a dilettante. The pandemic has changed that. I moved to the country side and decided to immerse myself totally in the art of photography. Portraiture is my favourite genre, but I also do research on landscapes and machines. And like any photographer, I also wanted to do nudes, a genre that is nevertheless ultra-treated. So I approached the world of libertinism in the hope of finding models. I had no idea then what creative energy I was going to be propelled into.

Men are less open to the idea of being photographed, they prefer to watch their wife offer herself to the lens. They like it very much, so much so that with each click, the desire rises, the breath becomes shorter. So, often, we fuck together. Then I take pictures of them again – this time fucking.

There are two parts to my work on the nude. The first is an aestheticizing vision in medium format film, with posing sessions like in a studio. The second is a documentary look at the pleasure and freedom of enjoying one's body regardless of one's physique and age.

I use a technique that I have developed over the years by taking portraits at social events and which is perfectly adapted to the darkness of the backrooms: Equipped with my small Leica topped with a flash, I capture the bodies, the interlacing and the playful looks of libertines who devote themselves passionately to sexual pleasures. 

It's brutal and authentic.
