He establishes a neutral and gentle ground to build his identity and watch that of others take shape. In the tumult of the outside world, the cold, the dangers, and the sidelong glances, Ame returns to the essential: love for his soul and his body. Whatever definition one might give it, love is experienced without labels. The focal point of his work is always a sweet, loving languor experienced in the orangey softness of an alcove, in arms and caresses. He cares for others as he cares for himself.
